WHAT IS WEAVING HOPE?

Teixint esperances is a social project that aims to improve the quality of life and promote the social integration of women victims of gender violence in the Baix Ebre, through training and / or real and dignified work. With a forecast annual care in the Project to 30 women victims of gender violence and based on the belief that people have different dimensions, we work to understand and accompany them from a global perspective.

To achieve this, we focus on self-esteem from the beginning, as well as those skills that strengthen it (social skills, parenting guidelines or job opportunities), given that, based on the assessments made prior to the women who will participate in this project, we note that, due to the situation of abuse suffered:

• they have a great underestimation of their abilities,
• insecurity,
• feeling inferior to the male figure,
• decreased ability to use their social skills and lack of assertiveness,
• both in communication and in their personal relationships.
• Insecurity to develop socially, to resolve frequent conflicts with their children and to face job search.
